Posted: June 12, 2002 Usually when email is sent and tracked by CCL, the message is linked to the associated contact record itself, and not the person's email address. This way, changes to the email address of a contact have no effect on tracking. Email sent using the "New Email" CCL button follows this procedure. However, if you send emails by manually typing in the address, they are not fully linked to the associated contact. If the contact looses the old email address (by removing it or changing it from the contact inspector) these emails will no longer be linked to the contact. |
